I say "fashion forward" because it is the only store I had never heard of (and that doesn't have a website apparently) and that perhaps, I thought, was trying to break out of the norm. Well.... I was wrong. The only fashion forward thing in the entire store was a sweater with large laces and grommets at the front that made it look like a large shoe. Since I was bored and disappointed I started walking around aimlessly until my mom exclaimed loudly "Oh! look! Cheap shorts!" Surprise surprise, we were standing in front of Bluenotes.
To tell the truth, I never really gave Bluenotes a chance. I was always turned off by its teenage audience but I was pleasantly surprised by what this location offered. I walked out of the store with 2 new v-neck t-shirts, one denim short sleeved button up shirt, and a red pair of sun glasses for Ty; all at the very cheap price of$39.98!
Both Ty and I were very surprised by the selection of fast foods in the "International Food-court": Pizza, Chinese food, Fries, and Subway. It doesn't get more international than that.
All in all it was a good visit. I got cheap clothes, an idea of what Owen Sounders wear, a good book, and a booklet with four different tour itineraries of the local cemetery. =)
I give Heritage Place 5 out of 10 fashion stars and 3 out of 10 international food-court stars.
Thanks for a fun adventure
