4 Movies Reviews

Alright, in the past 3 days I watched 4 movies. I know I have a busy life, what can I say?
The 4 movies are: The Last Station, Pret-a-Porter, The Namesake, and Splinterheads. Here I go:

The Last Station

I thought this movie was beautiful. Helen Mirren is absolutely amazing as usual. James McAvoy plays a really challenging role brilliantly. The story starts out fun and light but ends tragicly. I personally learned a lot about the life of Leo Tosltoy that I had no idea about. The costumes are not impressive but surely accurate. I recommend this movie to anyone who is in the mood for a Russian historical movie with great actors.

Pret-A-Porter

his was a very different movie. It's about a what happens during the Paris Fashion week. This 90s movies has real models from the time, designers, along with many famous and talented actors. It is a mockery of the fashion world in general. The storyline jumps in many directions, uniting all together at the very end.
All in all it's a fun movie, and if you're in the mood to watch a few fashion shows from the 90s and the glamourous mess that goes on backstage, then by all means watch this.

The Namesake

What a stunning movie! This movie deals with a young Indian family moving to New York city and all the problems that go with that. The contrast and differences between North America and India are absolutely captivating.
An extremely sentimental movie. If feel like a good cry please watch it because it will make you weep.
As beautiful as an Indian buffet when you're hungry. Ravishing!

Splinterheads

HILARIOUS!!! Splinterheads is a seriously funny movie. I have no idea how it went by unnoticed by most people. I recommend this funny Indie movie to anyone! The two main actors are likeable and funny, especially the Asian best-friend. The story is quirky and a nerdy but as said in the movie: "Nerdy+nerdy=COOL!"
Rent it, buy it, or download it, but make sure to WATCH IT!
